WWII CAP Veteran to speak at Sugar Valley

WWII CAP Veteran to speak at Sugar Valley

3 Apr 2015

Sugar Valley Composite Squadron has launched a monthly speakers program. The program will feature high-quality speakers from outside the squadron ranks with a broad spectrum of background and experiences. This is an opportunity for our seniors, cadets, and parents to learn of the experiences of others who have been involved in aviation in a number of interesting ways both professionally and recreationally.  These programs will be scheduled at the first Tuesday meeting of each month.

Our next speaker is Lt Col Jewell Brown, who joined CAP in 1943 as a cadet in the South Carolina Wing. For more information about her inspiring story, please visit the CAP Volunteer Now website article about her promotion to lieutenant colonel.

Lt Col Brown will be speaking on April 7 at 6:30pm at the Sugar Valley Composite Squadron weekly meeting. Visit our time and place page for directions.
