3 March: Daniel Lobb speaking on CAP Core Values

27 Feb 2015

Sugar Valley Composite Squadron is launching a monthly speakers program.  The program will feature high-quality speakers from outside the squadron ranks with a broad spectrum of background and experiences. This is an opportunity for our seniors, cadets, and parents to learn of the experiences of others who have been involved in aviation in a number of interesting ways both professionally and recreationally.  These programs will be scheduled at the first Tuesday meeting of each month.

Guest speaker Daniel Lobb

Our first speaker, Daniel Lobb, has an infectious enthusiasm.  He exudes a can-do spirit and positivity, especially when working with people who are striving to improve themselves.   Daniel, 37, is a partner in the cutting edge training company TRP Enterprises co-founded by the late Captain Thomas White, one of the founding members of the Sugar Valley Composite Squadron.  Thomas and Daniel logged hundreds of hours together in the air as pilots and conducted training seminars all over the country.  Mr. Lobb received his certification in workplace learning and performance (CPLP) from the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD).  He has served on the board of directors of the local chapter of that association, including a term as president (2013). He’s a private pilot, part of the Sugar Valley Airport management team, a backyard bee-keeper, a passionate volunteer in the community, and, with his wife, parent to three growing boys.  Daniel jumped at the opportunity to share his thoughts and insights connected to the CAP Core Values.
