The groups were divided into teams to search for a “missing” hiker named “Victor.” The three-person team that first succeeded in finding Victor was composed of two Davie County residents, Robert Logan of Advance and Gregory Burazer of Farmington, both representing the Sugar Valley Composite Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol, which has emergency services including search-and-rescue as one of its primary missions.
