The newly formed Sugar Valley Composite Squadron Color Guard presented the colors at the National Day of Prayer event held on May 1 in Winston-Salem, NC.  This was the first non-CAP event the color guard participated in.

The National Day of Prayer was held at noon at the Gateway  YWCA.  Attendance at the event included Mayor Allen Joines of Winston-Salem and Joyce Krawiec, a candidate for NC State Senator.  The cadets got a chance to meet and take pictures with both.
